O'fish'l Surfboard Fins Featured In Tommy Moore Design

Here are some photos of O'fish'l team rider and go-to guy, Eric Simons. Recently he took a trip back to the east coast to visit his family, friends, and beaches. Upon arrival he was greeted with a small south swell which lit up the Mid-Atlantic beaches as well as the OBX of North Carolina.

The board he was pictured sliding on in these photos was shaped by former WRV shaper, Tommy Moore. Tommy Moore has been living in San Clemente, CA, for about four years now and is continuing to fine tune his already extraordinary shaping skills and board designs. This particular board was a 5'6" x 18 3/4" x 2 1/4" hybrid with the O'fish'l TC carbon fin template. This board, as seen in the photo, takes a bit of the fish/rocket nose and shortboard tail to make what I like to call a "hybrid", easy to paddle and catch waves, but performs like your favorite shortboard!

If you would like T.Moore to build a board for YOU, send him an email, tmooreshapes@gmail.com

O'fish'l Fins East Coast Surf Session

Here are some photos taken by an incredible born and breed east coast photographer, Phil Hudson. Captured in these photos are some images of Ocean City, MD surf, and O'fish'l team rider Sam Svenson from Bethany Beach, DE. If anyone has an extra wetsuit or some spare neoprene laying around let me know so we can keep Sam covered and warm!

The board Sam Svenson is shcralping in these photos is a Rocket inspired 5'6" shaped by T.Moore(former shaper for WRV). I will have more on T.Moore shortly! Sam's O'fish'l fin setup that he has been using and says works insane is the CR 2x carbon twins accompanied by a 3-3 carbon center.

O'fish'l Surfboard Fins Satisfied Customer

Just ONE of the many satisfied O'fish'l customers!!!!

"Hey, Mark. I just wanted to drop you a line to say that I am impressed with your fin systems. I was giving Ted Kearns, my shaper and friend, some feedback on a new board he shaped for me last week. We began talking about the Ofishl set ups I was playing with on my new board and a high performance longboard he shaped for me some time ago. He said I should shoot you an email to tell how much I like them.

I've had several different 2 + 1 set-ups for my longboards, but have only used the Ofishl sidebites. I'm going to have to try some of your center fins soon. I'm on my second shortboard with Ofishls. Ted sent me a few fins to play with, and I found the magic set-up for the fish he shaped me. I really like the flex, the light weight of the fin as well as the box, and the price is affordable. I especially like the ease of which fins can be changed out. With such a light box and fin, it seems I'm able to huck the tail out with great ease and float across sections while maintaining speed. The result is more functional maneuvers due to keeping up that speed. I've got to attribute it to the fin system and box, as I've ridden similar shapes with Futures, Red-X and FCS systems and haven't had the same experience.
I just wanted to let you know I'm sold on Ofishls and look forward to using them on all my boards from now on. You have a solid, functional product without all the fluff that other companies seem to push and waste time on. Ofishl has everything I need.

Aloha,
Peyton"

Like I said, this is only one of our many customers who thoroughly love and enjoy the ease of use, as well as performance. Maybe YOU should be next!!!!!

"GREEN" O'fish'l Surf Products And Fins

Going "GREEN"? Many companies in the surf industry are jumping on the band wagon and making product that is environmentally safe or organic. That is great, but why so late?

O'fish'l has been "GREEN" since day one. Twenty years ago, O'fish'l started injection molding their products and using different colors, primarily white and black. In order to change the fin color you have to purge the machine of the prior color. Some companies would just push the excess material through until the new color would become predominant. Thus, a heap of wasted material that is hard as a rock consisting of nylon and fiberglass. Not the case with O'fish'l. We purge the machines the same way but mold fins with the material that most would discard. The end result is sweet, one of a kind fins! Each fin has a marble effect going from black to gray to white. Therefore, O'fish'l has wasted no material for the past twenty years in fin manufacturing!

We appreciate everyone's effort in participating in "GREEN" manufacturing and consumption! The next time you need O'fish'l Products be sure to ask about the "GREEN" line.
